Strengthen Our Fleet. 1930.
Though it would appear to the uninitiated that they were looking at a Productivist Soviet Dubrolet poster, the truth of the matter is that this is actually a Ukranian-language design attempting to convince that specific demographic to invest in their own best interests with a civilian air fleet. Or as the under-plane text puts it: “Inspire Ukraine! In machines and arms lies our power to protect the USSR.” An excellent Alexandrov design that remains true to its rhetoric without resorting to exaggerated paranoia.
