Robbe only produced a handful of posters; two were for the Plasson bicycle company. Fascinatingly, they work together as a complete visual story. In this one, Robbe creates a lovely, compositionally balanced scene featuring a man and woman posing, photo-realism style; the man supports the bike – and his lady – while she, a casual hand in her waistband, looks to her left with a cold, matter-of-fact stare.
