L. Voisin / Cafés-Chocolats. 1935.
A cup the size of a soup bowl shows that Voisin coffees and hot chocolate have "big"—deep, rich, and full—flavor. To increase the poster's appetite appeal, steam wafts over the head of the turbaned African server, who also reminds us of the products' exotic origins. Saunier designs the initial "C" in "cafés" as a golden bracelet anchoring the figure's upraised arm so it does not float disembodied on the superbly used black background.
