This mosaic-style German advertisement draws on several Greek influences: "pneumatic," from the Greek word pneûma, means "breath," and our statuesque goddess in the cherry red dress wields perfectly inflated rubber tires for both bikes and cars to dramatic effect. The text at the bottom reads, "Hemp tube and rubber are made in factories at Gotha."
